Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)

We have extensive knowledge and experience of environmental and social studies for government and private clients, projects funded by Government of India and International financial institutions i.e. World Bank, ADB, Axim Bank etc. Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) is a process of evaluating the possible impacts of a proposed project or development on the environment, considering inter-related socio-economic, cultural, and human-health impacts, both beneficial and adverse, with the view to reduce or mitigate negative impacts and maximise positive ones.

Our expert team has a strong experience for Environmental and Social impact assessment and management plan in line with guidelines, safeguard policies, environmental and social management framework by world bank and other multilateral funding agencies. We offer services and support to clients for environmental and social risk evaluation and management in line with national and international standards.

Environmental Audit (EA)

We offer environmental audit, an evaluation intended to identify environmental effects of current activities against set criteria, environmental compliance and management system implementation gaps etc. We provide technical support and recommendation for appropriate corrective actions to demonstrate environmental responsibility and meet Indian Regulations, health, and safety standards as well as client operating standards and procedures.

Environmental Audits evaluate the extent of environmental compliance against statutory requirements and management system implementation gaps against national international standards, industry good practices.

Environmental Compliance Monitoring (ECM)

Environmental Compliance Monitoring (ECM) exercises are conducted on facilities that have attained the EIA closed-out status as well as on facilities with valid Environmental Audit approval. ECM involves the assessment of the quality of the environment to control the risk of pollution from the facility. Environmental monitoring focuses on major areas i.e. air, soil, water and biodiversity.


Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP)

Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) is an implementation guiding tool for the environmental and social impacts management. ESMP establishes the environmental and social impacts of the project’s proposed activities. The ESMP sets out, in general, the mitigation and monitoring measures and institutional arrangements to address adverse environmental and social impacts. It helps entities in determining the appropriate level of environmental and social management required for the project and it also outlines necessary environmental and social mitigation measures for the project and its proposed components during the development and operational phases of the project. The

ESMP is an instrument prepared in accordance with ESMF (Environmental and Social management Framework) which is project specific, that sets out the mitigation and monitoring measures and institutional arrangements to address adverse environmental and social impacts.

Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD)

Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) involves the systematic identification, quantification and assessment/evaluation of environmental and social risks associated with a proposed transaction. Environmental and Social Due Diligence, Audit Service or ESDD identifies the existing & potential environmental and social risks or hazards associated with the facility or project.

Environmental and Social Compliances and liabilities have become part of critical business risks, therefore proper management would be required for sustainable growth and smooth business, otherwise it may pose significant loss exposure to any merger, acquisition (M&A) or financial deals.

Greenhouse Gas Inventory – Carbon Credit
